About Linking Our Hearts
Linking Our Hearts began from a personal connection with autism. My grandson, Jack, has autism. Jack’s touch on our family and our love for him has forever linked our hearts to raising public awareness to Autism.
Unique
We launched LinkingOurHearts.com to assist parents raising a child
with any type of sensory developmental disorder. Is your child "touch
sensitive"? Do you have to remove all the labels out of his clothes
before he will wear them? Being overly sensitive to tags in clothing
and sensitive to the feel of what clothes they will wear does not label
them with a disorder. But finding the right clothing choices for the
touch sensitive child will improve his attention, behavior and comfort
level.
Comfortable
At Linking Our Hearts comfort is always our first concern. We carry
a variety of clothes from the basic pull on pants and tees to one-of-a
kind designs. For those cute little diva's, we show a feminine style
which is practical, fun and energentic. For those adorable little guys,
some big guy trends that keep them looking hip, yet as comfortable and
familiar as their favorite old t-shirt. Our selections are current but
not too trendy. We want your kids to look great and feel great. We
carry sizes from 12 months to 12 years.
Gifts
Need a gift? Visit our Gifts section for selections on items that
are fun to give and to get. This is where you will find our popular
"The Keeping Busy Bag".
Artwork
LinkingOurHearts.com feature one-of-a-kind, original art
reproductions created by Jack Rochford. Jack, like many children with
an autism spectrum disorder, shows a creative spirit through artistic
expression. Although Jack has some difficulty with verbal communication
and socialization, his art communicates literally with an expressive
skill that reaches out, welcomes you in and makes you smile. Art is
simply an alternative way of understanding and communicating
Please enjoy Jack’s unique perspective
expressed through his art. The artwork will warm your heart and loudly
proclaim that children with autism have endless capabilities.
LinkingOurHearts.com wants to share your child's artwork with the
world. Art created by any child with autism will be happily showcased
on our "Community Art Showcase" pages. We are presently constructing
this portion under our Artwork section. For information on submitting a
drawing or photo of a piece of art, please contact Pam@linkingourhearts.com.
Xango
Xango is perhaps the most important juice you could give your child.
Great taste Kids love! Unless your children are eating all organic,
vegan food then they NEED supplements to help counter-act the negative,
harmful effects of the processed food they eat. Find out about the many
reasons your child should drink Mangosteen juice.
Enjoy
browsing and shopping through our site. Remember we are continually
